KANPUR (GN News): 15 coaches (including 13 sleepers and two general) of Sealdah-Ajmer express derailed between Rura and Maitha Stations at 05:22 AM near Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh today. At least 2 persons have been killed and more than 60 passengers were injured in the mishap. According to the Railway ministry’s sources, the Accident Relief Train and Accident Relief Medical Van from Allahabad, Kanpur and Tundla rushed to the site for rescue operations. The NDRF team has also been deployed for the relief and rescue operations. At least 8 passengers have been reported to sustain serious injuries. Government of India cancels FCRA licences of 20,000 NGOs

  New Delhi. The government of India has canceled the FCRA licenses of about 20,000 Non-Government Organisations (NGOs). The FCRA license is meant for getting contributions from foreign agencies, which is regulated under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010 (FCRA). According to the home ministry sources, these licenses have been canceled due to the violation of the said Act. Now these NGOs will not be able to receive foreign donations. Now there are only 13,000 FCRA licensed NGOs in the country, which can receive foreign funding.
