New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected all the interim applications filed by the individuals and groups for seeking permission to intervene in the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi land dispute case. A total of 18 applications wishing to intervene in the land dispute case as a party, were dismissed by the apex court.
The three-judge bench of Chief Justice Deepak Mishra, Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice Sajjad A Nazeer pronounced this decision. The Bench accepted the plea that only original litigants of the land dispute case should be allowed to argue in the case.
The Bench said that all petitions filed for the intervention of persons unrelated to this case should be rejected.
